Evil overlord Frieza languishes in spiritual purgatory. His physical form is obliterated until a loyal acolyte resurrects Frieza to take his revenge on the Z-Fighters of Earth. The villain gathers an army of 1000 soldiers and sets his sights on the destruction of Earth. Goku and Vegeta are oblivious to the rise of this evil force and are absent when Frieza stages his first assault, which is barely repelled by Gohan, Jaco, Krillin, Piccolo, Tien Shinhan and Master Roshi.
