Double Indemnity (PG)

A re-release of Billy Wilder’s classic 1944 film noir, based on the novel by James M Cain, about a bored insurance salesman, Walter, who falls under the heady spell of conniving wife Phyllis Dietrichson. When she proposes that they kill her husband to collect the money on his insurance policy, Walter obliges, blinkered to the meticulously spun web of lies and deceit into which he has fallen.
