To coincide with the 50th anniversary of England’s victory at the football World Cup, this documentary pays tribute to one of the heroes of that squad: captain Bobby Moore. Incorporating archive footage from the 1966 tournament, some of which has never been seen before, the film remembers a golden era in football and the rise of an ordinary man who became a hero to a nation one summer’s day at Wembley Stadium.
