Blackboards (PG)

Teachers Reeboir and Said roam the mountainsides along the Iran-Iraq border with blackboards strapped to their backs, searching for pupils. It is a time of great unrest and the pair are often forced to use their beloved blackboards for other means – shelter, camouflage, protection from gunfire, marriage dowry – gradually working their way through a country and a society living on the brink of collapse.
