A sporting biopic charting the rise and fall of former Indian Cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin. The film concentrates on Azharuddin’s ascent in the 1990s, when he set world records that are still unbroken and became embroiled in an ugly match fixing scandal – the first controversy of its kind in India, which thrust the player into the eye of a media storm, where every detour in his personal life was scrutinised and lambasted.
