Lonely and disenfranchised self-help author Michael Stone must hit the road to promote his new tome. One pitstop takes him to Cincinnati for a convention, where he insults a woman called Bella and ends up in bed with an insecure younger woman called Lisa. The following morning, Michael prepares to deliver his keynote speech, but it doesn’t go as planned and he reconnects painfully with the unforgiving world around him.
