Multimedia artist Nina returns home to Brixton to discover that the neighbourhood of her youth has changed almost beyond recognition as a result of gentrification. In order to document this cultural shift, Nina embarks on an ambitious art project. In the process, she faces her own trial when she becomes involved with two desirable men: black performance artist Ayo and white actor Mickey, who has recently moved to the area.
