Posh Spice and husband David are rumoured to be looking in the villages of Chipping Norton and Tetbury – where Prince Charles has a stately home – in the hope of finding their dream rural retreat.

“Victoria wants the boys to take up fishing and horse riding – real upper-class outdoors activities. She loves the idea of David taking them out to do things like that as a family,” a source told the Daily Mirror.

Though Posh wants her children – Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight, and Harper, two – to adopt the outdoor country-gent life, the fashion designer is unlikely to be getting her own immaculately manicured hands dirty.

The insider confirmed: “She’ll be happy to watch.”

The move has apparently been spurred by David’s newfound love of country rambles.

A source said: “Recently, David has adopted a new hobby, walking, and he loves to do it in the countryside.”

The Beckhams recently sold their Beckingham Palace mansion in Essex to buy a town house in London.
