Nicole Scherzinger says London’s bad weather lies behind its fashion success

Nicole Scherzinger believes London is a top place for fashion because of the bad weather.

“There is definitely a bigger choice of affordable fashion [in London], the high street is great,” the 35-year-old singer told LOOK magazine.

“It is more visually interesting, but the weather definitely helps this as you need multiple layers.

That layering leads to more self-expression than seen in hotter locations, according to the talent show panelist.

“There is great street fashion and you see more individuality, more youth cultures that inspire the young kids’ fashion. It is much more eclectic and mixed to what you will see in Los Angeles.”
