VAN MORRISON is the latest big name act to be added to the London Feis, the Irish-themed music festival set for Finsbury Park in June.

It was announced today that the legendary Brown Eyed Girl singer is to headline a second day of the event, on Sunday, 19 June. Bob Dylan had already been booked as the bill-topper for the Saturday, 18 June, when the festival was envisaged as a one-day affair.

“I am delighted to confirm Van Morrison to headline the second night and this is shaping to be a great celebration,” said London Feis boss Vince Power.

Among the other acts lined for the Feis (pronounced “Faysh”) are:

Afro Celt Sound System, The Cranberries, The Fureys, Nanci Griffith, Imelda May, Shane McGowan, Christy Moore, The Saw Doctors, The Undertones and The Waterboys.
